I am a strategic communications professional working at the intersection of energy, transportation, and emerging technology. I am based in Los Angeles and work as Senior Manager, Strategic Communications at WSP, a global infrastructure advisory firm.

What I do

Most of my work is translation: taking expensive, unfamiliar, long-horizon energy projects and making them legible to the people who have to approve them, fund them, or live next to them.

My clients include major vehicle manufacturers, charging infrastructure companies, electric utilities, and public agencies, spanning some of the nation's first commercial fleet electrification programs. I have helped them break into The Wall Street Journal, Axios, and WIRED.

Things I build

I lead my team's AI adoption, designing workflows that extend what strategic communications can do. The same approach produces the tools below: real products with real users, built solo with AI-assisted development in weeks, not quarters.

  • The Blue Board — an open-source real-time operations dashboard for United Airlines, with live flight tracking across all nine hubs, AI-powered delay explanations, a fleet database of more than 1,100 aircraft with equipment swap detection, and a Starlink WiFi tracker. 40,000+ monthly visitors, featured in United's internal newsletter, and used by the airline's own pilots and operations staff.
  • Plaincast — National Weather Service Area Forecast Discussions from 68 offices, rendered in plain English beside the annotated original, with a 230+ term glossary and a changelog showing what changed between editions.

I also consult for small businesses on IT modernization, applying the same principle at a different scale: making powerful technology accessible without enterprise budgets.
